Quilt Hanger

This Shaker-inspired quilt hanger is constructed of solid cherry. The finish is hand-rubbed Danish oil. The shelf measures 52" wide by 3.25" deep. The hanger bar will hold a quilt 36" wide. In this example, the quilt is folded once and then placed on the hanger. The original plan for this item appeared in Wood Magazine and was somewhat wider. I altered the dimensions to suit the location and the size of the quilt. |
