Bedside Cabinets |
|
|
2005 |
|
These beautiful cabinets are rendered in cherry with walnut trim and are finished with hand-rubbed Danish oil. The photos above and on the left show similarities as well as distinctions between the two identical cabinets. Real wood allows one to enjoy and celebrate the beauty of nature by carefully blending boards of differing characteristics into a cohesive presentation. |

Drawers are sized to present a pleasing balance to the eye and feature dovetailed joinery for everlasting strength. Full-extension ball bearing slides are used on the drawers for ease of access to all contents. |

At left and below you can see additional details of one of the cabinets. The
strikingly figured cherry panels of the top flow into a gently curved walnut
moulding. Fluted columns rise to meet the top panel. A figured cherry radius
blends the columns into carefully book-matched side panels. |
