This dresser is
a continuation of the series of pieces I'm building for our master bedroom suite.
Primary woods used in this item are cherry and walnut. Finish is three coats
of danish oil top-coated with many coats of shellac, then hand-rubbed to a satin finish.

I showed the dresser
at the Florida State Fair in 2006. The judge was really tough, but I got second
place for my work. |

I made a keepsake box
from the same materials as the dresser as a companion piece.

The inside of the lid
of the box is lacewood veneer and the bottom is cork.
