Installed in my office -- provides an organized workspace with everything within easy reach. Monitor is at eye level on a raised section that houses three drawers and has one open storage area at left. All cabling is concealed behind the monitor stand/ drawer unit and can be reached by removing the drawers. Keyboard is on a pull-out shelf. A shelf at the rear of the keyboard area is suitable for holding a UPS unit.

Here you can see the CPU cabinet at the lower right with door open. Air holes in the bottom front and an exhaust fan in the rear keeps heat under control. At left are three pull-out drawers for storage; the bottom drawer is for letter-size hanging files. Corner space at the bottom can be used for general storage or for a printer.

This photo of the unit is prior to finish and provides a slightly different view of the assembly. After the assembly was dry-fit together, it was disassembled for finishing. We used a wipe-on finish of boiled linseed oil and mineral spirits which was allowed to cure; then it was top-coated with three coats of satin polyurethane.
