The top of this table has a solid cherry border surrounding a field panel of madrone burl veneer. Base is solid black walnut legs and apron with a cherry bead at the bottom edge of the apron. Hand-rubbed oil topcoated with polyurethane varnish is the finish. On the left is a view of the striking madrone burl field on the table top. The use of natural burl veneer precludes a 100% exact match in all but very rare instances, making items such as this quite unique. |
